Hours for Payment The Cash Office is open for payments at the following times: Monday to Friday: 10am to 3pm Please be aware with effect from 27 August 2010 the Cash Office will be closing. For customers still wishing to make payments to the council by cash, debit or credit card, their payments will be accepted by any Paypoint Outlets or Post Offices. (Cheques may be accepted, this is a the discretion of the retailor). Further information will be published regarding this in due course. The council will continue to offer alternative methods of payment, such as: Direct Debit, 24-hour automated telephone and online. This number is available from Monday to Thursday from 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. At other times calls will be transferred to voice mail and messages will be answered the next working day. At peak times calls may be transferred to voice mail and will be dealt with as soon as a cashier becomes available the same day.
